На арене «Тэннэдайс Парк» собралось 10 тысяч любителей футбола. Поклонники московского клуба (всего – около 100 человек) расположились на нижнем ярусе центральной трибуны.

- Кто-то, наверняка нетрезвый, сверху бросил в наш сектор какой-то предмет, – цитирует болельщика «Динамо» Газета.ру. – Кажется, банку. Она и послужила «красной тряпкой». Наши полезли разбираться. Перемах получился серьезный».

Несмотря на сопротивление британских оппонентов, динамовские болельщики с легкостью забрались на второй ярус. Завязалась нешуточная потасовка. Численный перевес был на стороне фанатов «Данди Юнайтед». На агрессивных гостей из России бросились около десятка бойцов. Моральную поддержку соотечественникам оказывали шотландские болельщики, разместившиеся на трибуне за воротами. Они скандировали и активно жестикулировали. Драку остановили полицейские и стюарды.(с)

SCOTTISH football fans were attacked by Russian thugs during a European match last night.

The violence erupted just minutes into Dundee United’s big Europa League qualifier against Dinamo Moscow
at Tannadice.

More than 100 of Dinamo’s infamous Ultra supporters invaded the home end of the ground.

And witnesses told of their terror as the two sets of fans traded punches.

One Dundee United supporter said: “A crowd of Russian fans climbed over a fence separating the two groups of supporters and went for them.

“There were only two stewards around at that point and they were quickly pushed aside. It was a proper, old-fashioned rammy, it was terrifying to watch.”

Radio Scotland’s match commentator Allan Preston told listeners: “It seems to be the corporate end – it’s all shirts and ties. There are about 30 or 40 people involved.”

And, speaking at half time, BBC Sportsound presenter Richard Gordon said: “I have to say I cannot remember the last time I saw fighting like that inside a Scottish football ground.

“I saw some Russian fans climbing up on to the barriers and the walkways, trying to get up towards the fans there. I hate to say it but United might well be in bother”.

Police said: “There was a disturbance in the Jim McLean Fair Play Stand.

“As a result, there was an increased police presence in the stand to ensure fans were segregated and, after the match, Russian supporters were kept back in the ground for a period of time.”

Police said they had expected 300 Russian fans to travel to Scotland.

There were two arrests and six fans were thrown out of Tannadice.

Last year, there was violence in Dundee when Slask Wroclaw played at Tannadice. A group of the Polish club’s 2000 fans were blamed for causing the trouble. (с)
